DeKalb
County has always been a special place to call home. Its doors
are open to families, to ideas, to entrepreneurs and to progress.
That's why I have always loved living here.
I'm
Sandy Murray and I'm running to represent our State House District
80 in the Georgia Assembly.
I
have always been involved in our community and am dedicated to
making it the best that it can be!
As
your representative, I will not just cast a vote for progressive
policies; but I have the experience to push legislation for the
good of our families, our community, and our future.
For
over two decades, I have worked to bring jobs to DeKalb as an
entrepreneur and to serve my community.
I
founded one of the nation's first pc consulting and training
companies in 1983 and helped local companies take advantage
of the technology boom of the 1990s.
I've
used my background to start new companies, acquire existing
concerns and bring more people into the work force.
I
started Abrakadoodle in 2003 to teach art to preschool and elementary
school children.
I
served as past president of the Rotary Club of Midtown Atlanta,
as past president of the Women Business Owners of Atlanta and
past-chair of Southeast Chapter of American Electronics Association
Now,
I want to bring my skills and my experience to serve DeKalb in
the state legislature. I will focus on Education, Economic Development
and Transportation. These are the cornerstones that make DeKalb
the shining star of North Georgia.
With
your help and your vote, I will advocate for all of our neighbors
- not just those who share my views. DeKalb County deserves real
leadership not politics as usual.
