| Sandy’s
professional career includes starting the first PC users group
in Georgia, The Osborne Group of Atlanta. At the Osborne Group,
she instructed others about how to use their computers and
shared her breadth of knowledge with corporate clients to
boost their employees’ understanding of computers in
order to increase their productivity. As an educator with
Kaplan, she also teaches high-school students how to raise
their SAT scores.
Her civic and volunteer effort includes work as a campaign
and get-out-the-vote volunteer for several candidates over
the last seven years. She is also a member of Rotary International
and is a Past President of the Midtown Atlanta chapter.

Sandy has lent her support to the PATH Foundation, is an
Atlanta Audubon Society master birder and protects the significant
wildlife sanctuary in our yard.
Sandy
also founded Abrakadoodle, Art Education for Children, which
promoted learning through art to expand children’s
imaginative and innovative thinking. She held classes and
camps at Torah Day School of Atlanta, Henderson Mill Elementary,
Ashford Park Elementary, Rambam Day School of Atlanta, Marcus
Jewish Community Center, St. James Preschool, and Rock Springs
Preschool.
Sandy
is a graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor
of Science in mathematics and also attended graduate school
in business at LSU and the University of New Orleans.
Sandy
has lived in Brookhaven since 2003 with her husband of 26
years, Michael Clifford. Sandy enjoys a many hobbies and
interests, including reading biographies and science fiction,
long distance bicycling, physical fitness, travel, and bird
watching.
